This year the Valentine's Day falls on Saturday and it is near Chinese New Year too.I am actually busy preparing for CNY than for V day. Fetching mum here and there to buy CNY stuffs.
Meanwhile my school workload has increased because my teacher is on maternity leave. Everyday seem like battle to me as I will be super tired when finish my tuition at 6pm from Monday to Friday. As a result, I have no time to think deeply what v day gift shall I buy for dear.Luckily, in the last minutes I bought a belt and a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolate for him. In my thoughts, normally guys will give girls chocolate instead of girls giving to guys? haha.....but he is a favorite fan of chocolate.
Two weeks before V day, fish already inform me that he had booked dinner for that special night.I have no idea where he going to bring me for dinner. He said keep it as a surprise. On that day, when I got into his car, soon after I fastened my seat belt, fish say he had something to give me. In few seconds, he handed me a bouquet of flower with total 18 roses. lolz. I was shocked actually because I did not expect him to buy me flowers. Of course I felt sweet and happy that he is being thoughtful enough to give me flower. Then I ask the reason he give me flower, and he replied he realise he didn't give me flower before.
On the way to our destination, fish asked whether I had any idea where he wanted to bring me to, and I answer no. To my surprise, it was The Bistro in Impiana Hotel, the place that I had my internship.
It was a fine dining dinner with 6 course meal to be served. I chose sea bass for main course whereas fish chose beef. The food was scrumptious and garnished nicely. He said, this is first time he ate ice cream using plate and not cup or bowl. lolz. It was the first fine dining experience for both of us too. There was a live band performance in the bistro. We did have a great time enjoying the food and the ambiance of the bistro.
Oh ya, one of the funny activities of the day is fish actually help mum to take 20 ++ pamelo back to my house from granny house. Mum call for help so we went to help her after the dinner.
In conclusion, it was a great night with a lot of laughter and warmth. I felt touched and happy. Maybe when time goes on, we may not be celebrating Vday like what we did for the first time, it will be a fond memory for me for my lifetime.
